I want to fly, but I feel awful!

This cold is kicking my butt!!! HA-CHOO!

Fourth of July 20011, My daughter is with friends, my husband and son are in NJ and my best friend is spending the day at the beach with one of her other friends. No one home and no one to talk to. I'm definitely independent this Independence Day.

When others sin against me, it is then that I must realize that I am a sinner too. It is an opportunity for me to search my heart and confess my sins to God and ask for His forgiveness. Then it is my duty to forgive my transgressor as I have been forgiven. It is only through grace that I have been forgiven, so it is only right and just that I extend grace to others.

We have and obligation to God to be successful. He has blessed us we everything we have and need to be successful, not for our sole satisfaction, but to extend his hand of goodness on to others. God has given me so much. I am truly blessed. I live very well, have good health and suffer very little in life. "Why me?" one might ask. The answer: because God has a job for me to do. He's given me these blessings so that I might have a running start to affect the world, on his behalf, in a great way. It's not for my pleasure alone, but for the glory of God, manifest in the lives of my neighbors. "I got work to do."

I'm feeling a little under the weather today... but God is good! It's my day off, so I slept in late and now I can take the rest of the day to nurse myself back to health. Thank you Lord. You're always right on time.
